Some of my Poems are made in the Arabian Desert inspired by a multitude of experiences. Some are made for friends.

Remembering You

If only I could show
Humanity they ought to know
The fondness of knowing there was you

Bold as I may be
Temperament I had with thee
Sentiments far beyond our eyes can see

Like a voyager I am
Sailing through the vast ocean
Conquering the waves and the sun

Still it had been exemplary
So I owe to keep you dearly
Yes you, but only in my memory.

Under the Tree

Twilight Drama

Beneath the tree of dates and honey
Sun slowly touching the horizon
Flowers bloom and soon be forgotten
Another will rise to greet the dawn.

Stars glitter in pale hue, blue and yellow
Moon whispers hello, how are you?
While the sky holds a promising show
Traffic is in the air, I stared in awe.

Oceans are cold in November
Breeze softly touching my face
A smell of sunflower in the air
Haunts my soul to deep solace

Fairies dancing in the twilight
Enjoying with full delight
Slowly fading through my eyes
As I lay me through the night.

IF I LOVE YOU

If I love you
(zhemarie)

I can’t be perfect but I’m true
I will love you like no one else will do.
I’ll take you in my arms, hold you tight
So you will feel I'm feeling it all right.

The world may see how I love you dearly
Affectionate gestures you’ll find with glee.
I’ll stand by you no matter what
The imperfect you I long to touch.

I can see our life won’t be all bright
And world may seem a boundless dream
Yet I dare to touch the torch of love
You and I, I long to last.

The Sands of Arabia

November 2008 ( Re-published February 2011)

The Sands of Arabia

Slowly slipping from my hands
Like a vanishing shadow
That never cease in my grasp
The sands of Arabia…

Each step I take in the desert wilderness
Amidst the vast isolated place
My heart says, "this is it"
The sands of Arabia…

Trekking the dunes
Like a wild tamed falcon
Smells like centuries old
The sands of Arabia…

Overflowing with natural tricks and beauty
Dunes are formed naturally
What a magnificent creativity!
The sands of Arabia.

Love's a Lot

November, 2008 ( Re-published February 2011)

In the streetlights I wander
How you could be so real I recall
Things you said that made me wonder
Whether you meant to say it at all.

Time has indeed its torture
Assuring that every thing will right in fall
Keeping things not to resent
When things have gone by long.

Love does not require accomplishments
As with imperfections, I stand strong
It does not need a hand to hold
But patiently waits for love to live for.

Life is bountiful
With the ups and falls, I grew knowledgeable
Rough roads are meant to coach me lessons
So in the journey I become wiser.

For my Friend

A Tribute

In every step I take and downfalls I make
You hold my hand, to gather my strength and help me stand

In every word I say and nasty praises I make
You hold my hand, to tell me it's just okay

In every tears I make and my melancholic phase
You hold my hand, to make me understand life is not all grand

In every laughs I make and happiness I crave
You hold my hand, to show me I deserve a chance.

In every moment I try to say thank you and in every time I fail to do so
You hold my hand and looked at me without a word

and I understand…

HAIKU - Embracing My Sanity

I, could not begin…
Adversely am mystified
To becoming me!

Come to my haven...
I, dancing with melody
Beguiling my sanity!

in conclusion:
Then, I forcely chopped
The intangible facade
And become myself.

Azure as it is!
Like a music in the eye
Swaying endlessly...

A Day in a Million Time

Sunday, November 16, 2008 ( Re-published February 2011)

A Day in a Million Time
One day is worth a million time...
****
A day is worth a million time
We spend in things sublime
With future, without past
Things are not meant to last

We live for a moment
We live for a time
We live for others
To make their day bright

We laugh, we cry
We live and so we die
Joy and pain they are to gain
With no end and no beginning

Words are there to describe
The unfathomable complexities of life
Creeping through our senses
Lingering until our last breath.

POEM FOR A FRIEND

Somewhere across the miles of castles and dunes
A place I thought I’d call my second home
Far from familiarity, stranger alone I pray
That in a glimpse of light a magic can make delights
To catch away the burden and struggling inside

I come to think and let out a sigh
What is there to do when I have been denied?
Beauty has defy the content of real life
Along life's road in the desert paradise
My memory cannot make out one more cry

I left it all in vain buried deep down within
As far as l can grin, I dare not to free an awful plea
For nothing now is bound to please me
But a whisper of hope that for all I can finally be set free
From a call of duty and out to what we call a sanity.

Poetry Riddle
Before I write anything, I embrace myself and I think of nothing but me and my world..
Take a pen…
Make a grin
Stare a scene
Start scribbling.

Take a pause…
Hear the muse
Close your eyes
Give it a try!

Take a walk…
Cross the lane
Smile at him
Ready to begin?

Hear your soul…
What do you recall?
Drive yourself out of shell
Jot it down and you'll be there. ©
