Such a special day in November
When flowers start to bloom
Your mother must remember
When a son was born

The journey continued
You were on your own
Love and strength you offered
 Four kids were born

At times  your path takes a turn
Unknown  places became your home
Surprises came along
Unfamiliar faces  made known

My wish for you is sincere
The grant of your wish only you can tell
Good health, countless  love and  enough wealth
My intent wishes only I can tell

It goes without saying
That your birthday is amazing
For the love of  you and today
Lets celebrate you a Happy Birthday!

Speechless Love

I write about you in the glimmering light

Of an off-white tassled umbrella lamp

Where it shines on the paper blotted ink

And of pure innocence of thoughts here indicated

As I see your silhouette upon the glimmers of night

I see perfectly how and why I love you much

Like a light that merges its beauty in a daylight

I see my love envelopes you even through the night

Sometimes words may mean too much when uttered

It leaves traces to hearts, forgotten, remembered

But as the light slowly fades through the night

Utterly speechless I am, and so I write.

A friend you never knew

A friend you never knew

I used to dream about you
I woke up when I feel things not right with you
I cared enough you know
But solo is not the fight I would continue

I find myself somehow
Missing the real me which  I can't show
I was your friend you never knew
So I long to be with myself again to someone new

Like the rivers, the mountains and the seas
They change but they don't age
So let destiny strike it
I shall leave and grow with someone else

My wish upon a little star

Starry nights I gazed upon
Lying beneath the coco palm
Falling stars I watched around
To utter my wishes before the stars fall down.

Slowly and one by one, they come
Too many stars! Too many wishes I can count.
Happily I stared upon while stars are slowly gone
A child's folly, my childhood memory.

The sky looks down on me
I'm drowning as I can see, recalling
The world is upside down, I'm facing the sea
In the map, my father did disagree.

As long as there are stars in the sky
As long as there is only one moon that shines
Across the earth, down the river miles
I shall not stop wishing to my little stars.

Beauty coast to coast

True Serenity!

Brilliance, Clarity and Size
Gems from underneath!

You and I

If I look back, will I see you there?
If I talk, will you speak for me if i can't find my words anymore?
I wanna sing and dance my music with you
Its an undying wish I had before I let you go.

Life is so short and world is too small
I cant wait forever and as you said never
So I'll take my chances in others
Maybe to them I'm worth more than forever

Off the coast the waves are turning
I had no control but waters are dripping
So I shall follow the course returning
And maybe, this time you'll be there smiling

I'll try once more, come what may
The lessons are always there to see
The victory isn't all about taking home the trophy
But also sometimes it means losing your sanity

Unless the world is at rest
Then I shall stop caring less
As for us I can only wish
That we both find happiness.

Mt. Meru

Lying beneath the towering Meru

In the vast plains, the trees and thick dew

Down the city, the peeking modernity

Awakes the people in Arusha City.

One at a time, all at once

The Masai crafts done and sold in an instance

Home of the refugees and philanthropists

Across the world, camaraderie exists

Haven of   marvels exceptionally endowed

A bird’s eye view atop calms your shivers

The lakes and the bushes, wildlife’s abode

Down the earth’s crust where gemstones glimmers

By this time and throughout the year

We can kiss the sun, and dance on water

Dig on ground and climb the highest peak

To tell the world how grateful we are, we live on these!

Divided by islands  and islets
United by love blessed with exotic beauties
Inseparable by disasters and avalanches

Fair, dark or brown, Filipinos in a glance
Let alone the yearning, struggling and love

Still smiling over against the odds

Friends and allies around the world
We hold hands together in so much gratitude

Island Trek

Over a distance in a glance
A sailboat heading to a faraway land
The wind softly scolds, swaying to and fro
The breeze is cold, touching you so bold!

The horizon you can see over a sailboat’s direction

The clear sky is blue, with candy clouds glancing over you!
Fishes in the ocean, dancing merrily under the sun.
The trees, the mangroves, stay quiet in solitude.
 

Crows playing endlessly in the air

Squirrels go hide and seek beneath the coco lodge trees!
The unpretentious smiles and local HABARIs
Completes the Mafia Island Breeze!

If only I could show
Humanity they ought to know
The fondness of knowing there was you

Bold as I may be
Temperament I had with thee
Sentiments far beyond our eyes can see

Like a voyager I am
Sailing through the vast ocean
Conquering the waves and the sun

Still it had been exemplary
So I owe to keep you dearly
Yes you, but only in my memory.

Twilight Drama

Beneath the tree of dates and honey
Sun slowly touching the horizon
Flowers bloom and soon be forgotten
Another will rise to greet the dawn.

Stars glitter in pale hue, blue and yellow
Moon whispers hello, how are you?
While the sky holds a promising show
Traffic is in the air, I stared in awe.

Oceans are cold in November
Breeze softly touching my face
A smell of sunflower in the air
Haunts my soul to deep solace


Fairies dancing in the twilight
Enjoying with full delight

In the streetlights I wander
How you could be so real I recall
Things you said that made me wonder
Whether you meant to say it at all.

Time has indeed its torture
Assuring that every thing will right in fall
Keeping things not to resent
When things have gone by long.

Love does not require accomplishments
As with imperfections, I stand strong
It does not need a hand to hold
But patiently waits for love to live for.

Life is bountiful
With the ups and falls, I grew knowledgeable
Rough roads are meant to coach me lessons
So in the journey I become wiser.

POEM FOR A FRIEND


Somewhere across the miles of castles and dunes
A place I thought I’d call my second home
Far from familiarity, stranger alone I pray
That in a glimpse of light a magic can make delights
To catch away the burden and struggling inside

I come to think and let out a sigh
What is there to do when I have been denied?
Beauty has defy the content of real life
Along life's road in the desert paradise
My memory cannot make out one more cry

I left it all in vain buried deep down within
As far as l can grin, I dare not to free an awful plea
For nothing now is bound to please me
But a whisper of hope that for all I can finally be set free
From a call of duty and out to what we call a sanity.
